Recently we posted an article about a Kickstarter project we’re backing called Among the Sleep. This survival-horror title, where you play as a two-year-old child navigating through many environments whilst trying not to get caught by ghosts and ghouls, looks absolutely brilliant.
Krillbite Studio, the makers of this unique concept, have been on the ball and sending backers email updates regularly. They’ve really made us feel like they value our input into the game, creating a much-used forum so fellow backers can discuss what they would like to see and how excited they are. The developers have even set up a Reddit AMA so they can talk with fans personally about game details and keep us all in the loop.
Among the Sleep is in a pretty healthy condition with five days to go, receiving $178,027 from 5,818 backers. We’re certain this title will succeed in achieving its goal of $200,000 and and the team are pretty confident too, with their latest update talking about a potential stretch goal: Oculus Rift support. They received their development kit last week and have been testing it out with positive results – check out the video below.
